Team Queen is a space for all marginalised genders.'Marginalised genders' refers to people who experience prejudice and social exclusion due to their gender identity. This includes women (cis & trans inclusive), transgender men, non-binary people, and other marginalised gender identities. Team Queen has been designed as a queer-friendly space for marginalised genders; we kindly ask you to only book in for classes if you identify as such. Women outside the LGBTQ+ community are also welcome.
Coaches reserve the right to ask you to leave a class at any time and to prevent you from attending future classes if they deem it unsafe for you to participate in a class, or if you are jeapardising the safety or enjoyment of others.

All classes except Fridays circuits are held at Hove Methodist Church, Portland Road. Friday's classes are held at Impact Fitness, 12c Grand Ave, Brighton and Hove, Hove, BN3 2FQ.

Single class passes are £12 each. Memberships cost £50 per month for student memberships and £55 per month for full price memberships. Please get in touch at teamqueenenquiries@gmail.com if you have any questions about pricing

Please bring a bottle of water. Gloves and shin guards are available to borrow for any newbies who have just started training. After a week of training, please look into purchasing your own equipment as we have limited spare at our gym. If there are any financial difficulties in purchasing your own, spare gloves are always there if you need them.

Any comfortable gym clothes are fine.
Jewellery: all costume jewellery or accessories such as watches, necklaces, bracelets, etc. to be removed before training. This is to prevent cuts/scratches to yourself and your teammates. Piercings should be removed wherever possible or taped if not able to be removed.
No shoes on the mats: this is to avoid bringing in any dirt from outside which may cause skin infections. If you leave the matted area during class to get water or to use the toilet, please put your shoes back on.

Yes that’s fine, you can go at your own pace - all levels are welcome! 1:1s are also available if you prefer to learn the fundamentals first before joining a class.

While our group classes are based at basement level with no wheelchair access, a ground level option can be arranged with Christina for private 1:1 sessions.
We believe everyone should have access to kickboxing and martial arts, regardless of their budget. While we're currently unable to offer additional discounts on memberships, we're actively seeking funding to expand support in the near future. K1 Kickboxing and Muay Thai classes in Brighton and Hove.
Team Queen offers K1 Kickboxing and Muay Thai classes in Hove for women & people of marginalised genders. Based in Brighton and Hove, Team Queen gives you the opportunity to come and train just fitness or to develop as a fighter in the sport.

Group classes are run 5 times a week (see timetable above) – we offer affordable monthly memberships and drops ins. - You can also book in a free trial for your first class to try out Team Queen before you sign up!
Personal training in Brighton and Hove
If you’re looking for specialised individual coaching or personal training in Brighton and Hove, Christina also offers 1:1 personal training for all genders. This includes Strength and Conditioning at Impact fitness Hove PT studio or Kickboxing and Muay Thai training at our Martial Art gym at the Hove Methodist Church.
